DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

TO PUT ON (Psst...it's so simple!)

  1. Remove any sharp jewelry and smooth out all rough edges on your cast to prevent tearing the DryCAST diaphragm.
  2. Using your thumb, stretch the diaphragm to make room to insert your cast.
  3. Insert your cast into the DryCAST cast cover.
  4. Once completely over your cast, push the plastic ring toward the cast so the inner edge of the diaphragm points up and away from the cast.

TO TAKE OFF

  1. Stretch the rubber diaphragm with your thumb to ease over your cast.

DryCAST is a single patient use medical product. Please do not share your cast cover.

Before choosing a cast protector, please follow these steps to make sure you get the correct size.

SIZING INSTRUCTIONS:

With a tape measure:

  1. Measure from the tip of your middle finger to the top of your cast and add 1 inch.* This is your LENGTH.
  2. Measure the thickest point (circumference) of your cast (this may be the elbow area). This is your CAST CIRCUMFERENCE (MAXIMUM).
  3. Measure the circumference of your bare arm 1 inch above your cast. This is your BARE ARM CIRCUMFERENCE (MINIMUM).

*Important note: If there is less than 2 inches between the top of your cast and your elbow, you will need a protector that seals above your elbow at mid-bicep. All measurements (length, cast circumference and bare arm) should be measured from your mid-bicep.

Look at the table below to see which cast protector is right for you.
